About the Thread of Travel
Travel has the power to connect people, hearts, and landscapes.
"Thread of Travel" was born believing in that "power of connection."
It started with a small voice.
"Since Dad returned his license, we can no longer go to Urabandai."
Those words pierced my heart.
There are places I want to go, but I can't.
It's a place full of memories, yet I can no longer visit.
The reality of not being able to move freely within the community.
Faced with such reality, I thought deeply, "I want to do something about this."
The name "Travel Thread" carries the meaning of gently connecting "people to people," "people to places," and "hearts to landscapes."
Tying the frayed thread once more, shaping someone's small hope...
This tour was born from the desire to weave "warm connections" through travel...
Travel is not just about moving from one place to another.
It is about encounters, healing, and an important scene in life.
May "Travel Thread" gently touch somewhere in your heart
and inspire you to want to "travel again."

Winter in Urabandai - a silver paradise woven with silence and fantasy Winter is the most beautiful season in Urabandai. The entire area is enveloped in a pure white world. On freezing mornings, the crisp air and tranquility invite visitors into a fantastical realm. If you stroll through the forest on snowshoes, you'll be greeted by animal tracks and trees wrapped in frost.
Additionally, Urabandai Ski Resort offers slopes that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers, and at the hot spring inns, you can indulge in a luxurious time while soaking in an outdoor bath with a view of the snow. Winter in Urabandai is not just about being "cold"; it is a special season where you can feel the tranquility of nature and the breath of life.
The tours we create are basically custom-made. For example, after circling the lakes of Urabandai, you might want to visit Tsuruga Castle in Aizu, stroll along the quiet lakeside in the early morning, enjoy Ouchi-juku, or have an itinerary that allows you to avoid walking due to mobility issues... and so on. We listen to all requests and propose the best plan tailored to each customer's needs.
