A journey tracing the Buddhist culture of Aizu established by the high-ranking Tokui Bosatsu during the Heian period. Stroll through the historic site of Eijiji ruins and learn about Aizu's Buddhist capital at the museum. Enjoy a local vegetable shojin (vegetarian) meal for lunch. This is a fulfilling course that includes a sake brewery tour and nature walks.

Visit to the Historical Site of Eijiji and its museum

Hachiyouji Amida Hall

Also known as Aizu Koyasan, the Amida Hall was designated as an important cultural property by the national government in 1950. There is a unique custom here, now found only in this area, where small towers called 'wooden five-ring towers' are used to enshrine and memorialize the belongings of deceased relatives.

Shopping at Michi no Eki Bandai

A somewhat unusual roadside station that partners with various companies such as Montbell and Bandai Toys. It also offers unique local souvenirs.

Traditional sake brewing focused on the famous water 'Ryugasawa Spring'. Aizu's brewery with a history of 155 years.

Autumn is truly the golden route. Drive along the beautiful toll road (currently free) to Urabandai.

Urabandai Sightseeing Spots Walk

We will guide you to seasonal spots. During the autumn foliage season, we recommend the photographer's mecca, "Kakuzawa Pond."
