Sake Brewery

Shirai Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.

Founded in the 2nd year of Meiwa (1765), it is a long-established brewery. Particularly known for 'Kaze ga Fuku,' which uses locally grown organic rice (Gomokumai) and is mainly brewed using the Yamahai method. It has also won gold medals at the National New Sake Competition multiple times.

Otoko Yamazaki Brewery

A long-established brewery founded in 1865, it was dormant for a time. In 2020, a nephew of the previous owner revived the brewery, drawing attention as a resurrected sake brewery. The brand 'Wa' at the time of revival and the current 'Kai' embody the circle of people and feelings of gratitude.

Hongo Onsen Yutori

A day-use hot spring facility located by the Agagawa River (Ougawa), the largest river in the Aizu Basin. From the open-air bath with a sense of openness, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the majestic Aizu Bandai Mountain.

Takada Onsen Ayame no Yu

A hot spring located near Isasumi Shrine along the Miyagawa River. It is reputed for its chloride spring that is less likely to cool down.

Gatanuma Forest Park

Located on a high plateau on the west side of the Aizu Basin, this spot offers a breathtaking view of the entire Aizu Basin. You can enjoy beautiful scenery from fresh greenery to autumn leaves, and at certain times, it is also known as a railway photography spot overlooking the JR Tadami Line.

Myōjin-dake Jabuki

At an elevation of 1,074m, this trekking spot offers a stunning view overlooking the Aizu Basin, with Lake Inawashiro visible in the distance. It is also said to be the site of the Isasumi Shrine's inner shrine. There are well-maintained routes that are easy for beginners to climb.
