Kitada Castle Ruins
築城者と時期: 鎌倉時代初期の建久4年（1193年）に、佐原盛連の次男である佐原次郎広盛によって築かれました。広盛はこの地で北田氏を名乗ります。 北田城跡は湯川村の指定史跡となっています。
Katsuzouji
湯川村の歴史と文化の中心にあるのが、大同2年（807年）に開かれたと伝わる東北を代表する古刹です。

村全体が広大な田んぼで構成されており、どこまでも緑や黄金色の水田が続く美しい景観は、湯川村のシンボルです。この景観から「一枚の田んぼ」という表現が使われることもあります。
